How to Apply

Our Grant Application Procedure

Thank you for your interest in The Ralph M. Parsons Foundation and for the work you do to improve the lives of Los Angeles County residents. We want to help you do your very best work.

The Parsons Foundation’s two-stage application begins with an online Letter of Inquiry (LOI) as a required first step in seeking funding. We have a continuous approval process, and LOIs may be submitted at any time throughout the year. Before submitting an LOI, please review the Foundation’s Funding Priorities, Searchable Grants Database, and FAQs.

To access our application portal, either to begin a new LOI or to return to an existing application, please click here.

Full Proposal application – invitation only (.doc download) | (.pdf download)

Should you have any questions about completing your LOI or Full Proposal, please refer to the FAQs on our website or call the Foundation at 213.362.7600 and ask for a program officer to assist you.

We will carefully review your LOI, and you can expect an email response in approximately six weeks. We recommend adding mail@grantapplication.com to your safe senders list to ensure receipt of all application-related correspondence; please note that the Foundation does not receive messages sent to mail@grantapplication.com but can be reached via email at grantsadmin@rmpf.org. The most competitive LOIs will be invited to submit a full proposal, and further instructions will be provided at that time. If your LOI is declined, your organization will be eligible to reapply in 12 months.
