Our Grant Application Process
Thank you for your interest in applying for a grant from The Ralph M. Parsons Foundation. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for all people in Los Angeles County through impactful grants and strategic initiatives that advance community well-being.

First Step: Letter of Inquiry
A Letter of Inquiry (LOI) is a required first step in seeking funding, and LOIs may be submitted at any time throughout the year. To download Word or PDF versions of the LOI application, please click below:
Once submitted, your LOI will be carefully reviewed, and you can expect an email response within six to eight weeks.
Second Step: Full Proposal (Invitation Only)
Organizations whose LOIs best align with the Foundation’s current priorities will be invited to submit a Full Proposal (FP). To download Word or PDF versions of the FP application, please click below:
New Application Portal
The Foundation’s online portal is used for both stages of the application. In June 2025, the Foundation upgraded to the Blackbaud YourCause GrantsConnect portal. If you do not have a Blackbaud ID, please click Start a New Application below and then “Create Account,” and add noreply@yourcause.com to your safe senders list.
We updated our application with you in mind – simplifying question prompts, removing duplicative or non-essential items, and tailoring the form so you only see questions relevant to your request. We hope these changes make the process easier, but we understand questions or technical issues may still arise. If you need assistance, please email us at grantsadmin@rmpf.org.
Previous Application Portal
Our previous application portal remains accessible here until August 28, 2025 for the following activities:
- Downloading previous applications and reports. If you have applied to the Foundation before, your application and report history starts over in the new application portal. If you wish to save previous applications and reports, please download them.
- Completing a second-stage Full Proposal application (for invited applicants only). Applications already in the pipeline must be submitted by the deadline specified in your invitational email.
