Katherine joined the Foundation in 2017. She has over fifteen years of nonprofit experience in philanthropy, health, the arts and community engagement. Most recently, she worked in arts engagement programming at The Music Center/Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County, where she collaborated with local artists, thought leaders and nonprofits to collectively build healthy, vibrant communities through the arts. Prior to that role, she conducted health grantmaking at The California Endowment, addressing a range of health issues, including access to care and community health and well-being. A native to California, Katherine received her M.S.W. from the University of Southern California and her B.A. in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara.
